JamesTAYLORpassed peacefully at Crawshaw Hall on Monday, September 11, aged 86. Much loved husband of the late Frances Taylor, a loved father of Gary, Ian and Craig and father-in-law, and a cherished grandfather to Niall, Ross and Chloe. James enjoyed socialising and walking, especially in the Yorkshire Dales. Well known in the pubs of Acre and Rising Bridge, and a former employee of Holland’s Pies and formerly a cotton spinner at Ilex Mill. James’ funeral will take place on Friday, September 22, St James Church, Haslingden at 1.15pm. Donations in his memory are welcomed for the Alzheimer’s Society c/o Georgina Ormrod, Johnson Durning & Woods Funeral Home, Pleasant St, Hasingden. Enquiries to 01706 214498.
